Reviews for our Summer Camp

“My daughter enrolled in the Power Drama School in the summer of 2012. It was the best week of the summer culminating in a star studded performance of “Snow White”. As well as the sheer enjoyment of the summer camp my daughter gained in confidence and made many new friends. I would highly recommend this experience for all children. Many thanks to Loraine and the staff.”

"Loraine really knows how to get the best out of the kids. The transformation and new found confidence in the space of one week was amazing. My daughter couldn’t wait to get to camp each morning and is already excited for the new term to start. Thanks Loraine.”

"Having never before put foot on a theatre stage, I decided to take the leap and join the DIT Drama Society whilst studying at college. Needless to say acting for the first time under the spotlight as a complete novice was in the least a bit daunting. The professionalism and personal touch that Loraine demonstrated as director of the play "Road" was highly commendable. Loraine has a gift of being able to clearly explain, instill confidence and bring out the best of us to show our hidden skill of acting. Whether you are like me stepping onto the stage for the first time or want to take your acting skills a bit further, I couldn't recommend Loraine highly enough as your director and most of all acting coach to realize your acting dream. Enjoy every moment of it......break a leg ! "

" Ten years ago I was looking for a teacher who could motivate a group of students who had difficulty with the existing curriculum.I had known Loraine Power for many years and was aware of her teaching qualifications as well as her Drama teaching experience. Loraine designed a new programme that included Drama. Loraine wrote a play for the students utilising their skills and it was produced and performed by the students. I found her approach and methodologies to be very successful. She continued to work in the Transition centre delivering FETAC Level 3 and 4 modules including Drama for a number of years and produced a number of enjoyable and successful drama pieces.

I consider Loraine to be a motivated and skillful drama teacher who I am sure will always endeavour to do her best for her students."
