Senior Stars

Our Senior students take part in weekly classes covering Drama, Dance and Singing.

In Drama students take part in advanced theatre games, improvisation, mime and learn more about drama techniques. Students also have the opportunity to work on monologues/dualogues and to participate in the Speech and Drama Teachers of Ireland Feis.

In Dance students learn advanced technique in tap, modern, contemporary, musical theatre, jazz and hip-hop.

In Singing several different styles of singing are explored from choral work to musical theatre to popular music. Further work on vocal control, harmonies and part singing is explored.

Senior students also can devise and write their own one act plays which are staged and performed in the school.
